Leah and Usha Guest Speakers at Swami Vivekanand College of Social Work

Leah and Usha were invited to talk to the undergraduates at Swami Vivekanand College of Social Work to introduce the work of Women in Need. The occasion marked International Women’s Day and was attended by students of the “Rashtra Basha” who gave a powerful performance illustrating the discrimination and inequality faced by India women.

WIN recognises the potential in harnessing the energy and enthusiasm of students, especially those training in Social Work. The charity is exploring the idea of offering field research and experience to BSW and MSW undergraduates.
